Robert B. Machinist Chief Executive Officer, T/M Group

Robert B. Machinist is Chief Executive Officer of Troika Media Group and a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the audit committee of Troika Media Group. He also is Vice Chairman of Pyrolyx A.G., the first environmentally friendly and sustainable method of recovering high-grade carbon black from end-of-life-tires, and Vice-Chairman of the Maimonides Medical Center. He is also a board member of Monster Digital, Inc. as well Parachute Health, LLC. Most recently, he was Chairman and an original founding Board member of CIFC Corp., Chairman of the Board of Advisors of MESA, a merchant bank specializing in media and entertainment industry transactions, which he orchestrated the sale to Houilihan Lokey in 2016, partner of Columbus Nova, a leading private investment fund.
Prior to this, Mr. Machinist served as managing director and head of investment banking for the Bank of New York and its Capital Markets division, president and one of the principal founders of Patricof & Co. Capital Corp., managing director and co-CEO of Midland Capital Corporation and managing director in mergers and acquisitions of Wertheim & Company.
Mr. Machinist earned a BA in Philosophy and Chemistry from Vassar College. He has been a trustee and Vice Chairman of Vassar College, a member of its Executive Committee, and one of three trustees responsible for managing the College’s Endowment.

Chris Broderick Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer of Troika Media Group, Chris brings over 30 years of engineering and Wi-Fi technology infrastructure experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining, Chris was COO of SignalPoint, where he led worldwide network operations of wired and wireless topologies for voice, data and internet products and services; Senior Director of Client Services of FairPoint Communications; COO and Vice President of Operations at IntelliSpace & Wave2Wave. He spent the majority of his career at New York Telephone, NYNEX, and Bell Atlantic, running all facets of field operations, central offices, including voice and data switching centers as well as outside plant facilities in New York City business districts. In addition to his technical background, Chris has extensive training in quality process management, systems improvement and design.

Dan Pappalardo President, Troika

Daniel Pappalardo, founded Troika Design Group in 2001, and currently serves as President. Mr. Pappalardo is an award-winning creative director, designer, and business owner with more than thirty five years of experience in media, entertainment, marketing, and branding.

Mr. Pappalardo has played an instrumental role in the strategic and creative development of major entertainment and media brands around the world. He and his team have created brands that are among the most recognizable, relevant, and beloved by fans. Under his leadership, Troika has built a reputation as the go-to brand and design consultancy in Hollywood, delivering best-in-class strategy and creative for a client roster that includes ABC, Verizon Media Group, Amazon, AMC Networks, CBS Sports, ESPN, Fox, HBO Sports, Hulu, The CW, NBCUniversal, PBS, PGA TOUR, TEGNA, Turner, Starz, and UFC.

He has been featured in publications including Variety, The New York Times, Forbes, Communication Arts, Post Magazine, C21 Media, Designers in Handcuffs, and Motion by Design. He has also spoken at numerous industry events including Promax, AIGA and Inspire. Mr. Pappalardo and his work for ABC’s distinctive and acclaimed yellow and black identity were honored in the Smithsonian’s 2003 Cooper Hewitt Design Triennial.

Before founding Troika in 2001, Mr. Pappalardo was Group Creative Director at Pittard Sullivan, the groundbreaking agency that was the first to dedicate itself to branding and design for the entertainment and media industry.

Mr. Pappalardo earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. He resides in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles.

Matt Craig Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Troika Media Group, Matthew was North American CFO of TLA Worldwide which was a publicly traded sports & entertainment agency. Prior to TLA, Matthew worked for over two years at Walt Disney Studios as Director of Analysis & Accounting overseeing their live events group which included primarily their theatre production business. Previously Matthew was also Director of Finance & Controller for ten years at the sports and entertainment agency Endeavor (formerly International Management Group “IMG”). In his role at IMG, Matthew Craig supervised the reporting of all North American Media properties including entertainment, archive, digital, licensing, consulting, international distribution, post production facilities and various acquisitions.

An active CPA, Matthew currently lives with his wife Megan in South Orange, NJ.

Mike Tenore General Counsel

Michael Tenore, General Counsel and Secretary, directs the company’s public policy, legal, regulatory, government and security affairs. Mr. Tenore served as interim CEO and member of the Board of Directors of the company from October 2016 until June 2017. Before assuming his current position, he served as General Counsel and Vice President-Regulatory Affairs for Signal Point Communications. Prior to that, Michael served in a number of other legal roles at RNK Communications, a regional competitive local exchange carrier. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emerson College with a degree in communications and graduated Cum Laude from Suffolk University Law School. Michael has also taught telecommunications law and regulation as an adjunct professor at Suffolk University Law School in Boston, MA.

Ann Epstein Head of Studio

Award-winning creative director Ann Epstein possesses over 30 years of professional experience in the areas of network identity, brand strategy, marketing, and promotion. She is recognized industry-wide for building and managing strong creative teams and for developing successful creative strategies. In addition to her work with the CALTECH and SciArc Solar Decathletes, Ms. Epstein's clients include entertainment, retail and companies focused on sustainable technologies.

As Senior Vice President and Creative Director at E! Networks, Ms. Epstein led the on-air branding and identity teams to produce inspired solutions to challenging problems with award-winning results.

Ms. Epstein was previously Executive Vice President Creative Operations and Creative Director at Pittard Sullivan, where she was responsible for worldwide production and creative oversight of clients such as FX Networks, Kabel 1, CBS, Lifetime, and A&E. Prior to this, she served as Executive Producer for Nickelodeon, taught photography at Parsons School of Design in Paris, and worked on a variety of feature films, commercials, and other independent projects.

In addition to a recent Lumiere Award win for The Messy Truth VR Experience with Van Jones, Ms. Epstein is the recipient of multiple PromaxBDA Gold Awards, Graphic Design USA, Monitor, CTAM, Telly, Flame, N.Y. Festival awards and has received two Emmy Award nominations. She served on the PromaxBDA Board of Directors and is a member of AIGA and The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

While a native New Yorker, Ann resides in the Hollywood Hills with her better half, two teens, two dogs, cat, snake and a tank of fish.

Jeffrey Schwartz Chairman of the Board

Jeffrey Schwartz is the Chairman of the Board. Mr. Schwartz has been the founder and principal of Digital Direct Ventures (DDV) since 2008. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer of Old Pro Inc., providing strategic guidance and angel funding to early stage and growth companies in diverse digital and direct marketing businesses, including successes like DraftStreet.com and JW Player Incorporated. Mr. Schwartz also serves on the Board of Directors of FutureFuel Corp., a leader in the U.S. biofuel industry.

Jeff Kurtz Director

Jeff Kurtz is the President of The Kamson Corporation, which owns and operates 83 investment properties of apartments, office buildings and shopping centers in the Northeast. A graduate of the University of Miami, Mr. Kurtz is a member of the 1987 National Championship Football Team at the University of Miami and continues as an active member of the university alumni. For the past 12 years, he has been on the Board of the Hope & Heroes Children's Cancer Fund golf event and chairs this outing each year.

Thomas Ochocki Director

Thomas Ochocki is serving on the Board of Directors representing the largest shareholders of the company. He has over 15 years of experience in financially regulated and chartered stockbroking, private equity and investment banking in the United Kingdom. Mr. Ochocki is currently CEO and majority shareholder of Union Investment Management. He studied Psychology and Information Technology at Liverpool University and then C programming with Unix at Westminster University.
